Award winning

The American Chemical Society has awarded our student chapter with the "Outstanding" award for the 2015-2016 academic year, only given to 46 other chapters in the country.

In the same year we were also recognized as a "Green Chapter" due to "showing outstanding commitment to incorporating green chemistry into our annual activities," which only 52 other chapters can claim.

PROMOTE AND FOSTER INTEREST IN THE SCIENCES AMONG STUDENTS OF ALL AGES

The Chemistry Student Association at the University of Texas at Dallas is actively involved in community outreach to bring science to young people. We perform experiments for elementary, middle, and high school students. We also perform demonstrations at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science as well as the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History to share our enthusiasm for science with the DFW metroplex.

Connect with UT Dallas Faculty

Our organization has wide-ranging connections with the faculty at UT Dallas. We frequently conduct panels with our faculty for students to seek their guidance and mentorship. The CSA is an excellent means to get involved in scientific research.

PROVIDE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN STUDENTS OUTSIDE OF A CLASSROOM SETTING

We are an organization made to celebrate chemistry and we do so while having lots of fun through our scintillating social events. All members are welcome!
